Apocalypse Bear Trilogy

by Lally Katz
  • A Stuck Pigs Squealing Production

This is an invitation. New lands are being created. Memory, now and the future are pouring onto the internet. Reality is splintering into shards of mirror and a casual, congenial bear is showing up at people’s houses. If you’ve had a bad day at school, he’ll take you back to where it all went wrong. Or he may invite you to the woods – a place of myth, transgression and discovery, where outcasts can start again – but with grave consequences.

    Arts Hub Review

'With pitch-perfect writing Lally Katz disarms us with humour before figuratively honing surgical instruments to razor-edges and ressecting flesh to expose deep, paralyzing, and dark anxieties at the core of suburban life in her new work Apocalypse Bear Trilogy.' - Gary Anderson, Arts Hub. Australian Stage Online Review

'Seeing through its first Melbourne Festival, and providing another first-rate venue for a couple of the festival shows, is the new MTC Theatre.
