2010 STUDIO SEASON
Within the new MTC Theatre in Southbank, sits the Lawler Studio, a flexible space with seating for 150 people. The Lawler Studio represents the consolidation of MTC’s long held ambitions to broaden its artistic palette through the development and staging of new smaller scale text-based productions by some of the best playwrights, actors, designers and directors in the country. MTC has a long history of nurturing new talent but this new space will give the Company the opportunity and flexibility to develop and present new work by high calibre emerging and mid-career artists.
